HASBROUCK HEIGHTS, N.J. -- Marie D. Colangelo (nee Damiano) 93, of Hasbrouck Heights passed away Thursday, March 10, 2016.
She was born in New Castle, Pa. to the late Pasquale and Catherine Damiano.
Before retiring, Colangelo was a produce handler at ShopRite in Hasbrouck Heights. She was a parishioner of Corpus Christi R.C. Church and a member of the V.F.W. Post 4591 Ladies Auxiliary, both in Hasbrouck Heights.
She was the wife of Joseph F. Colangelo; mother of Joseph Colangelo and his wife Leanne and Patricia Curley and her husband Thomas; sister of Antoinette Borio, Joseph Damiano and the late Lucy Mitolo; grandmother of Samantha Novak and her husband Rodney, Joseph C. Colangelo and his wife Amanda, Allyson Curley, Lisa Delfino and her husband Richard and Albert Curley; great-grandmother of Joseph, Taylor, Jake, Carter, Joseph, Geno and the late Kamryn.
The funeral will be at 9 a.m. Tuesday at Costa Memorial Home, Boulevard and Central Avenue, Hasbrouck Heights. There will be a funeral liturgy at 10 a.m. at Corpus Christi R.C. Church. Entombment will follow at Garden of Memories, Township of Washington.
Visitation is from 3-7 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
