Easton resident Joel Gagner turned himself in to Westport police on Oct. 29 knowing there was a warrant out for his arrest. The warrant stemmed from an Oct. 11 incident in which Gagner, 45, allegedly exposed his genitals to a young boy.
According to police reports, the incident took place in the men's room at the Barnes & Noble at 1076 Post Road E.
Published reports say Gagner was also arrested by Shelton police for allegedly sexually assaulting a 5-year-old girl there May 16. Court records show in this case, Gagner was charged with first-degree sexual assault and risk of injury to a child. He is scheduled to appear in Milford Superior Court Nov. 22. He was being held on $25,000 bond in Bridgeport Correctional Center on those charges.
In the Westport case, Gagner was charged with risk of injury to a child, public indecency and breach of peace. He is due in Norwalk Superior Court Nov. 8.

? Westport police served Alex Delgado, of Bridgeport, with an arrest warrant Oct. 28 at Bridgeport Superior Court, where he was appearing on unrelated charges. The warrant stemmed from two assaults in April and May at Hall-Brooke Hospital.
According to police reports, Delgado, 26, allegedly grabbed a female resident by the throat in the common area in April and threw her down after she asked him to stop making lewd comments. In May, he allegedly assaulted a doctor. Delgado was charged with third-degree strangulation and two counts of third-degree assault. He is due in court Nov. 8.
