WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. A Peekskill man was charged after allegedly smashing four windows in a White Plains apartment then running from police.
Oscar Lucero, 24, was charged with second-degree criminal mischief, a felony, as well as trespassing and disorderly conduct, both violations, police said.
After allegedly throwing bricks through two apartment windows and kicking in two others at around 3 a.m. Sunday, Lucero ran from police responding to the incident, the report said. He ran into the street, causing a car to swerve, before tripping on uneven concrete, police said.
Lucero was being held for court.
