Troopers answered a trespassing complaint at the Olivet Center and allegedly observed Andrew C. Mayes, 25, in one of the buildings, police said.
Mayes attempted to flee on foot, but was located by a state canine unit, police said.
Mayes was arraigned remanded to the Dutchess County Jail in lieu of $5,000 cash bail or $15,000 bond. He is scheduled to reappear in the Town of Dover Court on March 9, police said.
