Gov. Dan Malloy will headline a lineup of state and local officials at the Wilton Democratic Town Committee's annual spring breakfast on Saturday, April 30.
Other top state and local officials expected to attend are: Connecticut Secretary of the State Susan Bysiewicz and U.S. Rep. Chris Murphy, who are seeking the Democratic U.S. Senate nomination; Nancy DiNardo, state Democratic chairperson; Andy Garfunkel, Norwalk town clerk and a candidate for mayor of Norwalk, and many Wilton board and commission members.
John Kalamarides, chairman of the Wilton Democratic Town Committee, said, "We are honored to have Governor Malloy join us for this year's breakfast! I cannot recall a time in recent memory that a sitting governor visited our town to interact with our citizens. This setting presents an extraordinary opportunity for Wiltonians, regardless of party affiliation, to meet and chat with their representatives in an informal fashion and to discuss the issues that matter to all of us."
The event will be held between 9 and 11:30 a.m. at Trackside.
Tickets can be purchased online at www.WiltonDems.org, by mailing checks to P.O. Box 103, Wilton, CT 06897 or at the door. Adult tickets are $35, children's tickets $5.
