Luis Rivera, of Cincinnati, arranged to meet the girl at Pendora Park in Reading, but he had actually been communicating with an undercover police officer posing as the teen, according to the Reading Police Department.
Rivera arrived at the park around 8:05 a.m. Monday and messaged the undercover officer to say he was there, police said.
Members of the department’s Patrol Division and Criminal Investigations Division took him into custody without incident.
Rivera was charged with unlawful contact with a minor and related offenses. He was awaiting arraignment as of the police release.
