The menu will include a variety of hot beverages, juices and milk, as will fresh fruit, yogurt and cereal.

Research confirms  breakfast is the most important meal of the day for students’ health, academic achievement, cognitive development and mental health. Students who eat school breakfast are more likely to reach higher levels of achievement in reading and math concentrate better, be more alert, retain more of what they learn and participate in class.

“Serving breakfast is one important way we can help make sure ICHS students are ready and eager to learn," said principal Joseph Azzolino. "It is just another way for the ICHS community to join together and build stronger bonds.”
