The Easton Public Library is searching for volunteers entering 7th grade or higher to help with summer programs for younger children.
The children and young adults librarian, Lynn Zaffino, said volunteering at the library is a great way for students to earn community service hours for school or extracurricular activities like church confirmation.
"Volunteering at the library is a win-win for everybody because [the volunteers] get the hours and we could also use the help in the summer," she said.
Those who help out will be eligible to win prizes and attend the Volunteer Appreciation party on Friday, Aug. 6. Anyone who is interested is required to attend one orientation session on either Wednesday, June 23 or Thursday, June 24 at 3:30 p.m.
