Peter Tripodi has a proven record as being a voice of the people. Sue Donnelly has a proven record of increasing taxes. Which one would you support? Sue raised taxes 30 percent while in office, she increased water bills 50 percent, and she also increased our ambulance taxes 31 percent in just two years.
Peter has voted against tax and fee increases and he has also proposed real solutions to fix short term and long term financial issues in the Town of Ossining. Peter has been on the Town Board two years advocating for these solutions to serious issues. Sue has never even been to a town meeting and has not the slightest clue about town operations and finances. This is no time for on-the-job training.
Peter was the only Ossining Town Board member that did not take a raise this year. He is also the only Town Board member that does not support offering free healthcare to part-time elected officials. He is the only board member who wants to include E-verify as part of a contractor's bid specifications. What is wrong with making sure Town contractors hire legally? Let's not make Pete the only board member with these ideas. In fact, let's make him Supervisor and elect Kim Izzarelli and Stephen Dewey to the Town Board as well.
