The two-alarm fire, which was first reported by The Lakewood Scoop, ignited at 9 p.m., with Lakewood police and fire rushing to 5th Street, Ocean County Prosecutor Bradley Billhimer said.
The fire occurred on the second floor of the structure and was eventually brought under control, Billhimer said.
The fire remains under investigation, Billhimer said. There were no reports of any injuries
