LaGrange Man Charged With Impaired Driving

LAGRANGE, N.Y. -- A 26-year-old LaGrange man is facing charges of driving while impaired by drugs after a traffic stop in the town Saturday, police said.

Robert Nani, 26, of LaGrange, has been charged with driving while ability impaired by drugs, according to the Dutchess County Sheriff's Office.

Robert Nani was pulled over by sheriff’s deputies around 5 p.m. on Thendara Lane investigating a complaint of an erratic driver, police said.

Besides the misdemeanor DWAI, he is also charged with aggravated unlicensed operation, a felony; failure to keep right and failure to obey a stop sign, both traffic infractions, police said.

Nani was arraigned in LaGrange Town Court and sent to the Dutchess County Jail in lieu of $10,000 cash bail or $20,000 bond, police said.
