LaGrange Library Raffles Barbie Doll, Book

POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. – The LaGrange Library in Poughkeepsie will hold a Holiday Doll and Book Raffle, starting Monday and going through Friday, Dec. 11.

This recently restored Barbie doll is part of the LaGrange Library's Holiday Doll and Book Raffle, starting Monday and running through Dec. 11 in Poughkeepsie.

The raffle will be for a vintage bubble-cut Barbie doll, restored by local fashion doll repair artist Luanne Donnadio, and a copy of “Barbie and Ruth” by Robin Gerber.

Gerber's book focuses on the creation of Barbie and her inventor, Ruth Handler.

Tickets are $1 each or a pack of six tickets for $5.

The winner will be contacted on Monday, Dec. 14.
