Children are encouraged to attend dressed as their favorite hero. Those without a costume can make one at the library's DIY craft program on July 2 from 2 to 3 p.m. by bringing a solid t-shirt with no logos or prints on it.
Parents are encouraged to bring a camera or cell phone for pictures.The training camp is part of Kent Fireworks Day.
