Kent Library To Host 'Paws For Reading Program'

KENT, N.Y. -- Join volunteers from Therapy Dogs International and their dogs at the Kent Public Library for the "Paws for Reading Program."

The program is offered on select Mondays through November. 

It is designed to give children, ages 6-10, the opportunity to gain confidence and improve reading skills by reading aloud to a therapy dog. 

This is a free event. One-on-one, 15-minute sessions are available by appointment only. Registration is required. 

Everyone who registers will be called to schedule an appointment.
