Kent Library Features Paws For Reading Event

KENT LAKES, N.Y. -- Join volunteers from Therapy Dogs International and their dogs at Kent Public Library for the Paws for Reading program, on select Mondays in March through June.

This program is designed to give children, ages 6-10, the opportunity to gain confidence and improve reading skills by reading aloud to a therapy dog. This is a free event. 

One-on-one, 15-minute sessions are available by appointment only. Registration is required. Once you are registered, you will be called, and an appointment will be made. 

To register, call 845-225-8585 or stop by the library. The library is at 17 Sybil's Crossing in Kent Lakes.
