Joseph Repik, Glenbrook Volunteer Firefighter

Joseph J. Repik of Stamford died on March 5. He was 86 years old.

Repik grew up in Lansford, Pa., and served in the Navy during World War II. After returning home, Repik started a career as a quality assurance professional and worked with Branson instruments for over 18 years. In his spare time, Repik was a volunteer firefighter with the Glenbrook Fire Department. He was also a member of St. Benedict's Holy Name Society and First Catholic Slovak Union.

He is survived by his children, Lorraine Hunter, Pat Repik-Byrne and Kevin Byrne; a brother, Florian Repik; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. A Mass will be held on Thursday, March 10, at 11 a.m. at St. Benedict-Our Lady of Montserrat Parish at 11 a.m. Burial will be at St. John Roman Catholic Cemetery. Memorial donations can be made to St. Benedict-Our Lady of Montserrat Parish.
