Stamford resident Paul Cordova-Perez, 18, of Sheridan Street, was arrested Thursday night on charges of third-degree assault after his 17-year-old girlfriend told police that he had pulled her hair and slapped her in the face, causing her lip to swell, after an argument. The alleged victim, who refused medical treatment when officers offered it, told officers that Cordova-Perez had been drinking and had accused her of cheating on him.
Bond was set at $500 for Cordova-Perez. He was scheduled to appear in court the following day.
