Jadale Golding, 20, of Roosevelt, was arrested at 12:26 a.m. on Feb. 26 in connection with a robbery that happened at Old Country Road in Carle Place on Wednesday, Nov. 19 at 8:05 p.m., according to Nassau County Third Squad detectives.
Detectives went to Golding’s home to take him into custody when they saw him sitting inside his vehicle, police said. As officers approached, he ran off on foot, sparking a brief chase. He was caught a short time later and placed under arrest, according to detectives.
After the arrest, officers recovered a loaded Glock .40-caliber handgun from inside his vehicle, police said.
Golding was charged with:
- Felony Robbery 1st Degree.
- Misdemeanor Menacing 2nd Degree.
- Felony Criminal Possession of a Weapon 2nd Degree (two counts).
- Criminal Possession of a Weapon 3rd Degree.
- Criminal Possession of a Weapon 4th Degree.
- Misdemeanor Assault 3rd Degree.
He was arraigned on Thursday, Feb. 26 at First District Court in Hempstead, police said.
