18-year-old Isabeau Levito, who lives and trains in Mount Laurel at the Igloo Ice Center, was named to the U.S. Women's Figure Skating Team following her third place finish at the 2026 Prevagen U.S. Figure Skating Championships in St. Louis last week.

Levito, who was born in Philadelphia, will be competing at the 2026 Winter Olympics in Milan and Cortino, running from Friday, Feb. 6 to Sunday, Feb. 22.

I'm going to do just my normal, consistent training routine, because it will be like any other competition except much more fun and exciting," Levito said. "We have such a great team and so many great resources and I really enjoy skating for this country."

Levito, who previously won the 2023 US Championships and a silver medal at the 2024 World Championships, wowed the judges with her free skate program set to music from the Italian classic film "Cinema Paradiso" that saw seven triple jumps.

The 5th ranked skater in the world, Levito has been skating since she was three. And the Olympics will be a homecoming for Levito, whose grandmother lives in Milan.

Levito hopes to break America's 20-year medal drought in women's figure skating at the Olympics, with Sasha Cohen's silver medal in 2006 the last time an American woman stood on the podium.
