RYE, N.Y. Irene Carrano Fara, a native of Rye, died Aug. 11 in Yonkers, with family by her side. She was 76.
Fara is survived by her husband, Charles Fara; three children, Charlie, Robert and Barbara; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Visiting hours are from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Tuesday at Flynn Memorial Home in Yonkers. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 9:45 a.m. Wednesday at St. Margaret of Cortona Church in Riverdale. Committal will follow at Mount Hope Cemetery in Hastings-on-Hudson.
