DARIEN, Conn. Television host Dick Clark, affectionately dubbed Americas oldest teenager, died Wednesday at the age of 82 in Santa Monica, Calif.
A mainstay on television for nearly 60 years, Clark rang in the New Year from Times Square every year since 1974. He was also known for hosting the popular television program American Bandstand from 1956 to 1989 and the game show Pyramid from 1973 to 1988.
