The dance lesson will begin at noon followed by a 2 p.m. concert from Armando “Son” Jimenez and Orchestra -- one of the hottest salsa bands in the area -- on the library's front lawn.
Lisa Skates, owner of Simply Social Dancing, will teach participants basic salsa steps that can be immediately put into practice at the concert following the lesson.
Both events are free of charge and all are welcome. For more information, call Kate Cannarozziat at (201)- 343-4169, ext. 36, or email [email protected].
The library is at 274 Main St., Hackensack.
