High Falls' Crazy Hat Bingo Offers Fun While Helping The Community

HIGH FALLS, N.Y. -- Grab the bingo dabbers and get ready to have fun while helping the community at the same time during the annual High Falls’ Crazy Hat Bingo on Saturday, April 9 at the High Meadow High School in Stone Ridge, according to the Poughkeepsie Journal.

The annual fundraiser, that helps fund community events including the Christmas Tree Lighting, Green Up Days, the Pet Show in May and A Fair Day in High Falls in July, is so popular that this year it's moving to the high school in order to make room for more Bingo fans, said the Poughkeepsie Journal.

In addition to the bingo game, there will also be celebrity judges actress Estelle Parsons and local musician Dean Jones and plenty of wacky contests (think crazy hats), food and events. The event runs from 7 to 10 p.m. at the school, 3643 Main St. Admission is $20 adults; $15 seniors, added the Poughkeepsie Journal.
