PEEKSKILL, N.Y. - Hector Rosado of Peekskill died April 28. He was 61.
Rosado was born May 29, 1951, in Lares, Puerto Rico, to Angel and Rosa Gonzalez Rosado. He was a machinist at the Mt. Vernon Machine Shop and also worked as a taxicab driver in Yonkers for many years.
Rosado is survived by his wife, Gloria Rosado; his parents; children, Alexandra (Jose) Cardoza, Jennifer (Monty) Montero, Hector, Jr. (Jasmin) Rosado and Juelle Rosado; five grandchildren; sisters, Aida Garcia, Daisey Rosado, Migdalia Rosado, Maritiza Garcia; and brother, Henry Garcia. He was predeceased by his brother, Angelo Rosado.
Calling hours are Thursday, May 2 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Joseph F. Nardone Funeral Home, Peekskill. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday, May 3 at 10 a.m. at the Assumption Church. Interment will follow at Assumption Cemetery.
