The Harmon Center, located downtown on Main Street, remains open as a warming center from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. It has WiFi connections and offers residents without power a warm place to charge laptops and cell phones.
Hastings High School, Farragut Middle School and Hillside Elementary School also opened Monday morning.
The Harmon Center will be open Tuesday as a polling place.
Residents are warned to use caution near or in local parks while recreation staffers inspect for possible safety issues.
