Harrison Bonds for Drainage on Pilgrim Road

HARRISON, N.Y. – The Harrison Village Board unanimously agreed to bond $100,000 to extend the Pilgrim Road drainage district.

According to Deputy Village Attorney Chris Cipolla, the work done on Pilgrim Road was petitioned by the property owners in the Pilgrim Road drainage district. Currently there are 18 homes in the district and four more to be added. The 15-year bond is so the village can hire a consultant to prepare a report.

“The cost of this project will be assessed solely to those property owners,” Cipolla said. “They will pay for it as part of their tax bills.”
