WEST HARRISON, N.Y. Gaetano "Guy" Morano of West Harrison died May 7. He was 83.
A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Anthony of Padua Church in West Harrison.
Born in Guardia Lombardia, Italy, he was the son of Luigi and Maria Morano. In 1948, Morano immigrated to the United States and settled in West Harrison. He started Morano Landscaping, where he worked until his retirement in 1995.
Morano is survived by his wife, Angelina Morano; two sons, Louis Morano and wife Linda of West Harrison, and Guy Morano and wife Sue of Somers; a daughter, Marianna Amato and husband Gerry of Purchase; a sister, Rose Cipriano; and three grandchildren and a step-grandson. He was predeceased by a sister, Grazia Mocella.
Visiting hours are 5 to 9 p.m. Monday and Tuesday at McMahon, Lyon and Hartnett Funeral Home in White Plains.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Michael J. Fox Foundation For Parkinson's Research.
