Gouldman, a Putnam Valley resident and Republican, is seeking a second term representing District Two. Williams, a Democrat, is hoping to breakthrough on all the Republican legislature.
In his first term, Gouldman has touted his record of launching the Animal Abuse Registry and keeping taxes at bay, according to The Putnam Examiner. Williams told The Putnam Examiner that Gouldman is not communicating enough with residents about important issues in the county.
