Glenham Water District Will Undergo Hydrant Flushing

FISH KILL, N.Y. -- Residents of the Glenham Water District in the Town of Fishkill are being advised to limit water use due to hydrant flushing Nov. 9 through Nov. 20.

CAMO Pollution Control, Inc. will be flushing hydrants between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m; during the flushing, residents may experience erratic water pressure and turbid water conditions, which will be temporary.

City officials said that the water will meet satisfactory sanitary quality during the flushing. The flushing is being done to bring long-term improvements to the area's water quality.
