CollegeFourU specifically was founded to help assist high school students and their parents, through the daunting, and often confusing, college application process. Every student is unique … each one having different life and school experiences. As such, CollegeFourU recognizes these differences, and helps develop a distinct and personalized college admission’s plan, based upon each student’s interests and academic profile.

The presentation is titled “Ten Tidbits for Easy College Admission.” The workshop will give students and parents an overview of necessary steps (which should be taken right at the very beginning of junior year in high school), to ensure a smooth journey to a “first choice college admission decision” by May 1 of their senior year.

Carrie Smalley and Karen Guastelle have a combined 38 years of admissions experience at the high school and collegiate level. Smalley was the assistant director of admissions and development at St. Mary’s High School in Greenwich, the director of admissions at Greenwich Catholic School and admissions counselor at Sacred Heart University. Guastelle was the dean of admissions at Sacred Heart University, where she worked for 24 years and was two-time New England Association of College Admissions Counseling Connecticut Counselor of the Year.
