NORWALK, Conn. Frederick F. Randall, 76, of Harbor View, died April 5 at Norwalk Hospital.
Born Aug. 5, 1935, Randall was a U.S. Army veteran. He graduated from University of North Carolina and received an MBA from New York University. Randall was a resident of Harbor View in South Norwalk for the last 28 years. At various times, he served on the Harbor Beach Company Board and as commodore of the Harbor View Yacht Club.
Randall and his wife, Sally, spent winters on the island of Anguilla in the British West Indies for the last 15 years. He founded a photography club on the island and actively supported the youth sailing school and community foundation. Randall also officiated, photographed and wrote about numerous regattas.
The family wishes to thank the Norwalk Police Department and paramedics, as well as the Norwalk Hospital ICU and cardiology teams for their considerate and thorough care.
In addition to her wife, survivors are three children, Robert, Anne and MacNair; a brother, James Paterson, and a granddaughter.
Memorial celebrations will be annouced later this year in both Harbor View and Anguilla. Arrangements are by Collins Funeral Home.
