Fox Earns Fourth Assembly Term

Incumbent Gerald Fox III held off opponent Kieran Ryan to return to the Assembly as the 146th District representative for a fourth term. Democrat Fox received 3,820 votes from Stamford residents, while local supporters for Republican Ryan numbered 2,051.

In the Assembly, Fox serves as assistant majority leader. He is vice chair of the Judiciary Committee and a member of the Planning and Development and the Transportation committees. He is a former member of Stamford's Board of Finance and its Board of Representatives. He has been or is now a member of several boards of directors for community organizations. They include the Bartlett Arboretum, CTE Inc. and the Stamford Public Education Foundation, among others.

Fox lives in Stamford with his wife and two children. He is a graduate of Westhill High School and Providence College. He works as an attorney, having graduated from John Marshall Law School in Chicago in 1992.
