STAMFORD, Conn. The headlining acts for Downtown Stamfords Alive @ Five summer concert series were announced Wednesday, with Foreigner named the closing act for the final show.
The annual series kicks off on Thursday, June 2, with Los Lonely Boys and runs seven consecutive Thursdays until Aug. 2, the special services district website said. The performances will once again take place in Columbus Park and begin at 5 p.m.
Photo identification is required to attend the events, and people 21 (hands will be marked) and under must enter the area before 7 p.m. Admission is $10, and children 12 and under are free, the website said.
Several items are restricted from the concert, including video cameras, coolers, alcohol, weapons and pets, the website said. Bags and purses will be searched.

June 21 - Los Lonely Boys
June 28 - G. Love & Special Sauce
July 5 - Creedance Clearwater Revisited
July 12 - Matisyahu
July 19 - Hot Chelle Rae
July 26 - Javier Colon
Aug. 2 - Foreigner
