YONKERS, N.Y. - Florence E. Kinney (nee Conley), a longtime Yonkers resident, died Monday March 18. She was 87.
Kinney was born Dec. 9, 1925, to Joseph and Anastasia Jackman Conley in Yonkers where she was raised and educated.
Kinney is survived by children, Gerald P. (Linda Tedone) Kinney, Eileen (Gary) Stephen, Kathleen (Joseph) Consavage, Maryann (Lenny) Grottano, James P. (Laura) Kinney, Florence (Anthony) Fox, Thomas P. Kinney, Timothy P. (Orlene) Kinney, Elizabeth (Frank) Russ and Maureen (Rick) Lambert; brothers, Donald, Thomas and Edmund Conley; sisters, Patricia (Alan) Meier and Joanna "Chickie" (Thomas) Flynn; 18 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Harley; parents; a granddaughter; brothers, Raymond, Lawrence, Arthur, John and Joseph Conley and sister, Margaret Swensen.
A Memorial Mass will be held Saturday, April 27 at 11 a.m. in Sacred Heart Church, 110 Shonnard Place, Yonkers.
In lieu of flowers donations in Kinney’s memory may be made to the Haven Hospice, J.F.K. Medical Center, 65 James Street, Edison, New Jersey 08818.
