Six member of the Staples High School boys soccer team visited first-grade teams from the Westport Soccer Association at Coleytown Middle School and ran, talked and even signed autographs for the young players.
Senior midfielder Greg Gudis organized the event. Teammates Frank Bergonzi, Sean Gallagher, Court Lake, Mikey Scott and Lorenz Esposito also met the young players. They watched all eight games of the future Wreckers. Two of the teams were coached by former Staples players Andy Udell (class of '88) and Dan Donovan (class of '82).
