The fire, started by some excavating work, only involved a few trees and some bushes, officials said.
Firefighters were able to put out the flames within a short time, they added.

Fire Started By Excavating Work Knocked Down In Lagrangeville
LAGRANGEVILLE, N.Y. -- Two units from the LaGrange Fire Department were able to quickly douse a small brush fire around 2 p.m. Friday near 210 Rombout Road, according to LaGrange fire officials.
