The Staples and Greenwich High School golf teams continue to reap the rewards of their respective championship seasons. Local student athletes were well represented when the All-FCIAC boys' and girls' golf first teams were announced on Monday.
Coming off of their FCIAC and State Division I championships, Staples boys' golf team members Dylan Murray and Austin Alianello were both awarded the top conference honor. New Canaan High School's Brian Tohir and CJ Swift were also named to the first team after capturing the Division II state championship. David Pastore of Greenwich High School rounded out the first team.
Brooke Nethercott and Leigh Wellington of the FCIAC champion Greenwich team highlighted the girls' All-FCIAC first team. Darien's Stephanie Ko and New Canaan's Emily Ramano were also named to the First Team.
