Thanksgiving leftovers might have just about disappeared in many households by now. Stamford residents interested in supporting their hometown symphony while restocking the refrigerator can drop by Fairway Market between 4 and 10 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 1. At that time, 10 percent of all purchases will be targeted for donation to the Stamford Symphony's Music Education Programs. The orchestra provides, among other events, free concerts for all Stamford Public Schools fourth- and fifth-graders. Fairway Market is located at 699 Canal St. Pictured: Lt. Gov.
