Fairfield's Sullivan Hall Lot Closed For Repaving

FAIRFIELD, Conn. – Residents without “essential” business at Fairfield’s Sullivan Independence Hall are asked to avoid the town building for the remainder of the week. The town hall’s parking lot will be repaved Thursday, Friday and Saturday, meaning on-site parking will be limited.

Sullivan Independence Hall and the department it contains will still be open for normal hours Thursday and Friday, and the parking lot will still be available for meetings at night. The lot will be closed during the day, however, so residents without “essential” business are asked to wait until next week.

Fairfield’s other town hall building, Old Town Hall, will not be affected. Overflow parking will be available in the back of First Church Congregational, 148 Beach Road. Parking is available along the east side of Penfield Road from Old Post Road to E. Paulding Street and along the east side of Beach Road from Old Post Road to Sunnie Holme Drive.
