Fairfield Seeks Building Experts for Commission

FAIRFIELD, Conn. – Are you a Fairfield resident with experience in construction, engineering, architecture or finance? Do you want to help your town make sure its buildings don’t fall apart? Then the First Selectman’s office is looking for you.

The Board of Selectmen is seeking members for the Town Facilities Commission. The commission is a group of experts with building project experience. It helps building committees and elected bodies make decisions about renovation projects to schools, libraries and other town-owned buildings. The group’s members would be responsible for attending monthly meetings at town hall and personal time spent reviewing projects.

Those interested in joining the Town Facilities Commission should start by sending a resume to the First Selectman’s office via e-mail at [email protected] or via mail at 725 Old Post Road, Fairfield, CT 06824. Questions about the recommendation and approval process as well as the TFC itself can be directed to the First Selectman’s Office at 203-256-3030.
