Marcellus Wiley, 51, was arrested in Orange County, Florida, on Saturday, July 4, on a domestic battery charge, according to multiple reports.

The former NFL defensive end and longtime sports analyst was initially held without bond, according to ABC affiliate WFTV in Orlando and People.

No details about the alleged incident, including the location or others involved, had been publicly released as of Sunday, July 5, WFTV reported.

Wiley is the husband of Annemarie Wiley, an alum of "Real Housewives of Beverly Hills."

The arrest comes as Wiley is also facing separate sexual assault allegations from multiple women.

A former ESPN employee and three other women accused Wiley of sexual assault in court filings obtained by Rolling Stone and People in May.

Those accusations are separate from the Florida domestic battery case.

People reported that the newer allegations brought the total number of accusers to seven, including three women who filed a lawsuit in 2023 alleging assaults while Wiley was at Columbia University.

Wiley has denied the earlier sexual assault allegations, People reported.

Wiley was born in Compton, California, and played college football at Columbia before the Buffalo Bills selected him in the second round of the 1997 NFL Draft.

He spent four seasons with Buffalo, then played for the San Diego Chargers, Dallas Cowboys, and Jacksonville Jaguars.

Wiley made the Pro Bowl in 2001 while with San Diego and retired after the 2006 NFL season.

After football, he became a sports broadcaster, working for ESPN and Fox Sports.

His TV credits include "NFL Live," "SportsNation," "Speak for Yourself," and other sports commentary programs. He has also hosted the "More To It" podcast.
