Fallon attended Cardinal Hayes High School and graduated from Westchester Community College with a degree in chemistry. A Navy veteran, he served as a pilot on the aircraft carrier USS Wasp. He worked for Xerox Corporation for 27 years, retiring in 1986 as director of Long-Range Planning for National Service.
He was proud of his Irish heritage, and he was active in national and local organizations such as the Haverstraw Elks and American Legion. He was a lifelong fan of the New York Giants.
Fallon is survived by his wife, Kathleen Fallon; children Eugene Jr., Kevin, Sean and Kathleen; grandchildren Kevin II, Sinead, Kalea, Eugene III, Mairead, John, Conor, Reagan, Gia and Jaspeh; and siblings Mary Collins and Clare and Jack Kelly.
He was predeceased by his parents, Frank and Lena Fallon.
Visiting hours will be from 6-9 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 9, at the Scarr Funeral Home, 160 Orange Ave., in Suffern. A mass will be Celebrated on Saturday at 10 a.m. at Sacred Heart Church, in Suffern.
