Emerson Officials Explore Options For Flood Zone

EMERSON, N.J. -- The borough council in Emerson is looking at ways to stop flooding in an area by the Musquapsink Brook and Bogert Pond, reports northjersey.com.

The area around Dorchester Road, Pershing Street and Vivian Avenue is being evaluated by Gary Ascolese, the borough engineer, reports northjersey.com.

The plan calls for new storm water retention pipes as well as upgrades to the drainage system in Westwood, reports northjersey.com.
