Electrical Work May Have Caused Ossining Fire, Officials Say
OSSINING, N. Y. -- No one was injured Saturday in a fire at a vacant Ossining building that officials believe may have been caused by an electrical shortage sparked by construction at the building, News 12 Westchester is reporting.
Ossining fire officials say construction at a vacant building likely started the Jan. 16 fire.
It started at around 7 a.m. Saturday in the building on Spring Street. News 12 Westchester said it is unclear if the building is planned for residential or office use.
