This colorful tree, announcing the change of season, greets motorists as they head down East Avenue. Easter Sunday is on the way. The date for the Christian holiday varies from year to year. It was established originally as the Sunday immediately after the first astronomical full moon after the vernal (spring) equinox, according to About.com. Later, Western Christian churches developed a system for determining the Ecclesiastical Full Moon, which decides the date for Easter. This year that is April 24.
If you want to see the Easter tree, head north on East Avenue from Route 1.
