According to Drew University, the fall Drew Empty Nester Semester starts Sept. 17 and runs through early December.
The program launched in spring 2026, and it's a 10-week on-campus series for people experiencing changes such as children leaving home, a career transition, more personal time, or a search for new learning and enrichment opportunities.
Fall 2026 Drew Empty Nester Semester events include social media and digital skills through pop culture, mahjong, at-home mixology, Renaissance color, optimal aging, Shakespeare’s “Hamlet,” artificial intelligence, astronomy, and thriving during and after the empty nest transition.
Per Drew University, the programming also includes learning the “Thriller” dance, haunted books and a ghost tour with a mortician, autumn landscape paintings with a chance to create one, and the healing movement of 5Rhythms.
