POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. — Lifelong Poughkeepsie resident Doris E. "Mil" Lasko died Monday, May 16. She was 92.
Born Feb. 23, 1924, in Poughkeepsie, she was the daughter of the late Albert and Estelle Butler Conrad.
She worked for New York Telephone, Wallace & Co. and Montgomery Ward until her retirement.
She married John J. Lasko on July 24, 1955. He predeceased her in 1975.
Lasko is survived by her children, Craig Lasko and his wife, Beth, Marlene Metz and her husband, Larry, and Michael Barton; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Lasko was also predeceased by her son, John Lasko Jr.; her brother, Albert Conrad; her sister, Shirley Walker; and her companion, Harry Johannesen.
