Radnor Township police were called to the university on Sunday, Feb. 1, after the student reported that she had been sexually assaulted overnight, the DA’s Office said.

The student told investigators she had been drinking and contacted her friend, Naeem Turner, about meeting up. Turner told her she could come to his dorm room, where he was with relatives, authorities said.

She fell asleep in Turner’s bed, then awoke multiple times as two men sexually assaulted her, according to the release. She told police the assaults were forceful and that one man did not use a condom, according to the affidavit of probable cause.

The student later left the room, contacted friends, and called police. She was taken to Bryn Mawr Hospital for a sexual-assault examination, the DA’s Office said.

When officers went to Turner’s dorm room, they found Chase Thompson wearing a pink sweatshirt and Dontae Williams wearing a black sweatshirt — clothing the student had described to investigators, according to authorities.

Turner allegedly told police he had sex with the student that night and described it as consensual. Detectives said a search of his phone uncovered videos in which the student appeared to object to being recorded and pushed the camera away. Authorities said Turner also sent photos and videos to a contact in his phone.

Williams, who faces three counts each of rape of an unconscious victim, sexual assault, and indecent assault of an unconscious person, surrendered to Radnor police on Thursday.

Thompson also surrendered Thursday. He is charged with two counts each of rape of an unconscious victim, sexual assault, and indecent assault of an unconscious person.

Both men were arraigned and released on $150,000 unsecured bail, the DA’s Office said.

Turner was charged with invasion of privacy and issued a summons to appear in court. Preliminary hearings are scheduled for Sept. 24.
