FAIRFIELD, Conn. Say hello to Dolly. She is a 3-year-old American Staffordshire Terrier. Shes also one of the many dogs and cats waiting for adoption at the Fairfield Animal Shelter.
According to Fairfield Animal Control, Dolly first arrived at the shelter in November 2010 in bad condition. She appeared to have just given birth to a litter of puppies, and needed surgery to repair infected mammary glands.
She is in perfect health nowadays, with exuberant energy and very good manners, the Animal Control website reads. Dolly has been patiently waiting for a home.
