Deanna Stoddard Missing From Susquehanna County Found Safe

An endangered missing person investigation is over after a woman who vanished from her family’s home in Susquehanna County was found safe, Pennsylvania State Police said.

Deanna Kathleen Stoddard, 42, was last seen at her family’s residence on Monday, April 6, according to authorities.

Deanna K. Stoddard was located alive and well at about 11:30 a.m. on Sunday, April 14, police said.

Stoddard has been reunited with her family and is undergoing medical treatment, according to investigators.

State police had asked for the public's help locating Stoddard after she was reported missing from Susquehanna County. Authorities did not release details about the circumstances surrounding her disappearance but issued a public appeal as the search continued.

Police announced Sunday that the search had ended successfully and thanked the public for helping spread the missing person alert.

"Thank you for all the shares!" Pennsylvania State Police wrote in an update.

No additional information about where Stoddard was found or the circumstances of her recovery, was immediately released.
